This is a timelapse from a live drawing session streamed on Twitch. I'm working with a Pilot Hi-Tec-C Maica 0.4mm Gel Pen in blue, known for its ultra-precise lines, reliable ink flow, and clean detailing — ideal for meditative, technical sketching.

The sketchbook is an Amazon Basics hardcover, but it handles gel ink surprisingly well. The paper is smooth with a bit of tooth, holds fine lines with minimal bleed-through, and is a great everyday option for ink sketchers on a budget.
